ISOLAR AKUSTEX® double glazing is designed to reduce the noise entering a building, and at the same time achieve good thermal insulation. ISOLAR AKUSTEX® is made up of one or several acoustic glass panes, which, when they are appropriately combined with gaps of different thicknesses, allow different degrees of insulation, reducing noise by up to 50 dB.
ISOLAR AKUSTEX® it can be combined with other special types of glass to increase its insulating properties. AKUSTEX® is perfectly compatible with low emission glass for energy saving (such as NEUTRALUX® ) or for solar control (such as SOLARLUX® ). These combinations can be perfect for buildings near to serious sources of noise, which also need to be highly energy efficient.
